Missing Mom

I have been out of sorts lately and I was not really sure why. But then it hit me; it has been a year since Mom became very ill, which ended in a diagnosis of ovarian cancer. She went home to God seven weeks later. It was certainly one of the most difficult periods of my life.

If your Mom is still with us; give her a call and tell her you love her. They are a gift from God that cannot be replaced.

  1. Thinking of you Mark <3 The first year after Blake was the hardest. I know your Mom is so proud of you, cheering you on from heaven. The priest last week at Prince of Peace was talking about Mary being taken to heaven and restored to her youth as well as all who enter heaven. He has just read about a boy who had a glimpse of heaven during surgery gone wrong...and he recognized his grandfather's picture but not a later one..a picture from a younger age. Your mom is cheering for her dawgs, young & beautiful and cheering on all your accomplishments, Will's graduation, Morgan's etc. Sometimes thinking of Blake like this helps me..just know I am thinking of you! <3
