Two Years Since Benedict's Departure
Its hard to believe that it has been two years since Pope Benedict XVI resigned as Pope. The first time since before we Europeans came to the Americas.
I remember sitting in my office at work, watching as he left the Vatican. It was a bitter sweet moment because I admire him so much; knowing that he was doing, as always, what he thought was best for the Church. He is an example for all of us.
His departure is worth another look.
