A Cogent Response to "Bizarre Land"

John Martens over at America Magazine wrote a cogent response to the paper by Canonist Peters and his blogging son. Although a biblical scholar, he brings a sharp focus on the issue as well as some of the motivations for bringing up this issue now, since the paper at the source of this debate was written 5 years ago.
